The inspiration for the project came from my mindset at the time; a time of emptiness, isolation, and reflection. It is meant to reflect the lonely and mundane life that I often tend to have, primarily accompanied by an imaginative figure(s) that I can rely on as a listener to my everyday thoughts (basically a long winded and possibly pretentious way of saying that I talk to myself, the easiest way for me to express my personal thoughts). “They’re There” refers to this figure that is always there for me to express myself towards, as well as the common consoling phrase “There, there.” This album also deals with my sleeping disorders and how it effects my headspace and attitude and how draining of energy and motivation that can be. I hope you all enjoy.
